Desert River

Another day passes as the the beginning of a brilliantly colored sunset illuminates the clouds over the natural desert landscape. The image was taken from a hill filled with barren desert brush and trees. The season is Autumn or Winter. The Rio Grande River runs through and curves around the landscape from right to left. The sky is filled with orange, yellow and red hues reflects in the still water of the river. A formidable mountain range is highly visible in the background.
